Who signs these guides
I am Ricardo Lopez and I write every post on this blog from my own keyboard. I started on an orc hunter back in 2005 with a shaky dial-up line and a guild of night owls. I learned to trap on pull and to save copper for mount training at level 40. I cleared Molten Core late with low parses and loud calls. I moved to Destiny 2 when work broke my raid nights and I mained a Titan for four years of morning strikes. I joined the Forever beta on September 17 and I leveled a Skyborne through Zephras Isle to 28 in ten nights. I keep notes, repair bills, and lockout shots for each guide I publish here, sorted by date and zone for quick retests. I keep a shelf of old boxes from vanilla nights with discs I still lend to friends. I save transmog sets per season with dye notes and drop sources I cleared myself.
How I test routes before post
I play each route before I type a word about it. I run Forever dungeons with pugs and I log loot rules before pull. I farm cloth in Mount Hyjal edges and I time respawns with a phone clock. I push Riverglades quests for two hour blocks and I mark rested gaps in my notes. I run Destiny lost sectors with the exact build I list and I note Power Level cutoffs I hit myself. I retest broken steps after hotfixes on my own realm before I update. I date every fix at the end of the post with patch numbers attached for clear history. I drop routes that waste more than an hour and I say why in plain lines. I time my morning coffee with daily reset so bounties never eat my writing hours. I coach one friend through each dungeon first to spot steps my guides skip by habit.
What gear and realms I use
I play on EU evenings with a mid range PC and a wired mouse I have owned for six years. I run default nameplates with cast bars scaled up for raid nights. I track damage with live logs and I save profiles per boss. I keep one Titan build per subclass for Destiny weekends. I keep one Skyborne for Forever questing with skinning beside combat. I buy bag space early and I track gold per hour in Hyjal farm loops. When work eats my week I book a narrow WoW Forever boost for beta leveling or a single lockout and I mark the result in my notes. I carry two notebooks, one for Forever herb loops and one for Destiny perk rolls. I stamp each post with a last checked date after patch days in beta and live realms.
Where to reach me next
I answer through the contact page once a week on Sunday evening. I take broken route reports with level, zone, boss name, and screenshots attached. I take Destiny build fixes with subclass and weapon perks listed. I read newsletter replies the same Sunday I send issues. I credit reader proof with nicknames you approve. I never ask for passwords or authenticator codes. I never sell carries myself. I post corrections with dates so old patches never mislead. If you spot a bad call in one of my Forever beta notes, send the realm, build number, and time you tried it and I will check it again on my own realm that same week and I will post the fix. I fish near Auberdine docks on Fridays when raid leaders cancel and I need quiet farm time.
How I Play My Hunter
- Restock ammo and pet food
- Re-read the quest log slowly
- Save copper before spending any
Old habits stick, so I still play like it is a dial-up evening: slowly, and with a plan for every pull. Hunters taught me to manage pets, ammo and distance before they became a problem. I love classic-style leveling for the small economy lessons, such as saving copper for mount training and not wasting it on shiny things. Dungeons are best with a patient group. Raids, for me, are about the people more than the loot.
